MF 60 H backhoe runs, will not move

Hello, Wow, thanks for this lead into my problem. Could you help me a little more? What safety switch to the tranny are you speaking of? Where in the harness did you find this? Was it broken or grounding out?
Thanks again Greg

Hey Greg. On the rightside of the trans you will see a couple of switches. They both have white and red wires large gauge one wire comes from your ignition switch to one side of the neutral safety switch and a white and red wires what looks like a solenoid in the rear of the engine where the cab starts.it is very hard to see under there.then a large red wire from this solenoid to your starter solenoid.your wire color my be different in color as this red wire has been changed before.when you said both sides of your solenoid were "hot" are you referring to the vikers solenoid box? I have four wires on mine orange and black seems to be the color.one side has ground and one side has 1.5volts.I also found that the electrical passthrough on the floor had brake fluid dripping on it from the master cylinder and was badly corroded.it sounds like you have a ground issue and I have a power issue.let me know. Dave.

Problem solved! There is An electrical connector that goes between the interior of the cab and the outside.it is to the left of the brake pedal.leaking brake fluid corrodes the pins inside the connector.you won't be able to see the rotted pins. The piece is held in with two screws. The connector is in 4 sections you will need pliers to pull them apart.that is what I found.I hope this helps. Dave.
