I'm new to the world of tractors. I'm looking at some weekend warrior tractors such as Jinma, Nor Trac, and some other Chinese made tractors. I see the abbreviation for "Drive:MFWD." What does that mean?

mechanical front (or four) wheel drive, where the front wheels are smaller than the rear ones,
as opposed to true 4 wheel drive, where all 4 tires are the same size.
It's also abbreviated as MFWA at times (front wheel assist) - and often referred to as 4 wheel drive.

Oh, yeah - Nor-Trac is a Jinma, just different name plate.

MFWD means that all four wheels no mater of the size are driven mechanically.
as apposed to earlier 2wd tractors that were equipped with HYD front drive.
