Re: National Farm Machinery Show

While I have no "Mrs." with whom to confer on things like this (and refuse to do so with the g/f who's made it abundantly clear that she'd like to graduate to "Mrs." status), I don't think I can justify the trip since I'm still hoping to take a week yet this month to attend the NAHB (National Association of Home Builders) convention in Las Vegas.

While I'm not an active builder I do have plans to build my own home soon and, quite frankly, just enjoy that kind of stuff anyhow. I'd thought about taking the g/f but think she'd be rather bored. Her Dad, a former home builder, might be a better choice. /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

Surge,
I have the blessings of the CFO to be in Louisville on the 14th, actually my son's B'day is the 13th /w3tcompact/icons/grin.gif. I will be getting in on the 13th and leaving on the morning of the 15th.

Re: National Farm Machinery Show

That sounds like alot of fun also and certainly Vegas is an exciting location... more so than Louisville, but in different ways of course... Have a great time there....!!!!

PS: Ya, certain "baggage" we have, by choice I might add....but that's life. !!!!

Re: National Farm Machinery Show

I'm not saying you guys have "baggage" or anything. I just have a hard time relating to those kinds of concerns about 'asking permission' to buy something or go do something.

Gary,
I never asked permission........ I said I was going and if she could get the time off, I'd be happy to have her come along. She actually enjoyed the Power Equipment EXPO there last summer. Just can't get the time off right now, especially a Thursday and Friday. She's the only one that knows how to do payroll at work.

THEN I realized what days I would be gone, she said......."You'll be home on the 15th though, right? Then, go have fun."

Re: Midwest Quick Hich

So you are making equipment that matches Kioti colors?
You making equipment for the Kioti dealers?

Re: Midwest Quick Hich

Yes, we are very proud that Kioti has chosen us as their OEM 3 point equipment line. Kioti is a wonderful company to work with and we are very pleased to be in business with them. Distribution is underway and you will find our implements available at Kioti dealers nationwide under the Kioti label.

PS Jerry, don't worry. you can still get the RED one

Re: Midwest Quick Hich

Jim,

Congratulations on the Kioti affiliation! That is quite a coup. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Since you've assured Jerry he can still get red may I assume that you still have some of that green paint around that you put on my box blade last year? /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Also, is there a price point on this you'd care to share? Thanks! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Re: Midwest Quick Hich

Got to the show on Thursday, met up with Jim Mc. He explained the boys at the plant sent the wrong one. They sent the one that is made for Midwest attachments. Or anything that is made exactly to Cat. 1 standards. Look at the pic, you'll see 2 spherical balls in the lower hooks. The balls mount on the lift pins of the attachment and then the hitch grabs them to lock on.
They also make one for non-standard attachments which hooks on to the lift pins with some tolerance for different pin measurements.
So I guess I got to see it, but not the one I wanted to see.

Re: Midwest Quick Hich

Now look at the above attached picture. You'll see on the right side, there is the new cylinders for Top-N-Tilt. He planned to have them hooked up to the tractor and powered by an electric pump but I never saw it work.

Re: Midwest Quick Hich

Does anybody who was fortunate enough to make the show have any info and pictures of the Quick Hitch that you can post for those of us who couldn't make the show.

Thanks

Andy

Inspector507,

The balls mount on the lift pins of the attachment and then the hitch grabs them to lock on.

I guess that means that a set of this balls are needed for each implement? Unless we want to keep moving them...

Thanks for the picture! Wish I could have been there too!

Re: Midwest Quick Hich

Inspector507,

Thanks for the picture and description. I think my last post crossed your's since it wasn't up there when I started on mine. It made me chuckle to write a post and have it answered above itself. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Re: Midwest Quick Hich

I would assume they would be an inexpensive item for the attachments though. I suppose you could move them back and forth, they just slid on I think.
