Finally finished welding up the mower. Got the hydraulics hooked up, (without relief values yet, on order), took it out for a spin. OMG, I can't wait for a zombie attack as this would be by second choose. First is a 12 gauge. I cleared an acre of tall grass/bushes in a hour and half. Once the blades were up to speed, nothing was left. The coupler did get loose and chewed up the rubber insert. Need to adjust the mount a bit to get it tighter. The gearbox shaft is smooth. Will need to grind a keyway to line up with the coupler.

Next steps is to grind down some of the weld splatter and give it a good coat of paint. Any recommendations? What color to paint it as well?
