Misc Farm Equip question

We have been leasing our hunting farm for about 20yrs now and the owner has finally gotten to the age he can't work the place. He leases the farm rights but has alot of small equip that he is getting rid of. I am trying to buy it all and was wondering if there was a way to trade or sell a lot of the stuff I don't want. Does anyone know of a place that would take these items in on trade? All are in good shape and have been in a barn for years..Items he has I don't need are:
6ft motto hammer mower (flail mower I guess)
3 row bottom plow
3pt hitch sprayer (large plastic drum 300gal or more mounted on hitch only? John Deere)
7 flt blade
mid buster
3pt auger
hyd log splitter (old)

Find a local farm equipment consignment auction. These auctions are quite popular and there are lots of them. Sometimes equipment brings premium prices and sometimes not too much. It's a gamble. Also, craigslist is a good outlet to sell used equipment. I have never failed to sell stuff I have listed. As long as you don't ask too much of a premium price, someone will buy it.

Craigs list! if you hunt and do food plots you might want the sprayer to spry the fields to kill the grass before planting! Id be interested in the splitter if your near me.

If only you were closer, I would be all about that 3 bottom and the sprayer.

thats a lot of gear are you sure you dont need it you could make a little money but think how much all that stuff cost to re buy

Thats what my Dad is telling me, keep it for now and see if you will use it? I need --- I mean I want -- a tiller so I might sell the plow and flail mower to off set getting a tiller. BUT- I hear that those flail mowers are really nice? Just have to wait to see what he is going to do with all the stuff. Heck I was told today he might sell his JD5200 with 850hrs on it for $7000 with a new bush hog on it? Now that's my luck- always wanted a tractor and finally bought one in July- now I possiable could have two with a bunch of equipment.. Just wait and see what happens next I just hate to see the guy getting older and at 84 has a strong mind, just can't get around real well Said he is one heck on a nice guy..

Whatever you do dont sell the flail mower as its a Mott Flail Mower!!
