Well, hang in there. Hopefully that is all Y'all will have.

Oh wow, Y'all do have a huge moat. I thought you were on mainland Australia. Google Map is awesome!:D

Yep, that's us waaaaaaay down South... next stop, Antarctica. And, of course, being South it's colder than the mainland.

But hey, you learnt something, eh? Next you'll find out that the Tasmanian Devil really is an actual animal (and a marsupial) looking nothing like the cartoon "Taz".

I did learn Y'all are on a huge island. I also knew the Tasmanian Devil is a real critter. :pawprint:

I finished all the plumbing yesterday and loaded her on the truck. I picked up 98.8 gallons today of off road fuel at $1.57 a gallon. Got her home and added 32 ounces of Power Service. Then I tried it out filling the sawmill's fuel tank. I still need to run remote battery studs on the tractor. Today, while filling the sawmill, I just moved the zero turn mower nearby and flipped the seat up for battery access.

I wired in the battery jumper terminal yesterday. Here you can see how to get to the battery. The cover swings open. 4-12-20 Mahindra Battery Box Open.jpg4-12-20 Mahindra Battery Box Before Mod.jpg The whole thing swings the other way for removing and installing a battery on the tray. I used a bracket I made years ago for the QDs on the loader. The connectors are bulkhead fittings for external power starting on race cars. 4-12-20 Battery Jumper Ground Wire.jpg4-12-20 Battery Ground Wire Closeup.jpg Ground wire goes through the side of the battery cover. 4-12-20 Battery Jumper Ground Wire.jpg The positive wire was installed in split loom coax. 4-12-20 Battery Positive Split Loom.jpg I wanted to cover the external positive. I save old shock absorber bushings. 4-12-20 Positive Stub Rubber Bushing.jpg I cut one down to make as low a profile as possible. It takes a good tug to pull it off. 4-12-20 Positive Stud Rubber Bushing Trimmed.jpg

I made one similar but used a manual piston pump. Most compact tractors have a fuel tank around or under 10 gallons. You hardly need a powered pump to fill it and the powered pump is more hassle then it's worth.

Gsganzer,
Howdy!:)
Oh, mine is a utility tractor. When I disc all day, I refill it 3 or more times. The excavator has a 35 gallon tank and can eat that up in less than a day, at full throttle. I would hate to manually pump that amount.

Brandi,
With that kind of usage, I'd use a powered pump too!:) My portable tank is only 36 gallons (wish it were bigger) and was built from a tank someone gave me when I was looking for a better option then hauling 5 gallon yellow cans. Those cans have become such a pain with all the "no-spill" gadgetry and take forever to empty, but seems you still spill it everywhere anyway. I like the way you did your battery leads too!

I have five, 5 gallons cans for diesel. Two of them didn't have the no spill or no vapor spouts on them. I always swap these spouts from empty cans to full cans. I always wanted to install valve stems without the valve cores in these cans for vents. I still might do that as they were red when I bought them and painted them yellow for diesel use. Guess I will paint them red again, as my zero turn mower holds 12 gallons of gasoline.

Glad you like like! If I did it over again, I would use these Jumper Terminals..... https://www.oreillyauto.com/search?q=46210-02 https://www.oreillyauto.com/search?q=46210-03

Ding beep,
Those look nice. However, I don't like steel tanks for anything. But I got a steel fuel tank on my excavator. I use Power Service in all my diesel, so I haven't seen a problem with it. I do try to keep the tank full to prevent condensation.
