She got my uncle to put on the deck belt and got it cutting again. I live 20 hrs away so the variator will have to wait until vacation next summer. Thanks for the help.

Understood you to only ask about the tractor not moving.
Didn't mention that it was the mower deck that wasn't working.
But if a mower deck belt gets it cutting again, then good.
