I guess I didn't notice until mentioned. Interesting. How does one become a moderator? I would consider but don't know much about it. Does one have to be on during certain times or do you just moderated while you there?

I guess I only see a couple of new names. I had noticed Hazmat about a week ago I guess, and noticed Garry on Friday or Saturday. If there is another new name, I don't recognize it as being new /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

When I mentioned to my wife that I'd been asked to be a Moderator, she wanted to know if I'd rigged it so that I could get my tractor sooner! I assured her that was not the case. But it may help anyway. We were out of town this weekend at a work related conference. While I was in our morning meetings, she and some other ladies went shopping. When we were leaving town on Sunday, she told me to drive in a different direction. When I asked why, she said that she'd seen a New Holland dealership when she was shopping, and she'd thought I'd want to stop and take a look. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif Had forgotten to bring the camera /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif, but they had a TN95 with a cab sitting there, along with a TC35DA, TC33DA, TC30, and a few used tractors. She liked the cab on the TN95! /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

So maybe this Moderator thing will work out really well! /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

I’m not sure if this is true or not, but I heard that the ‘notify moderator’ button works in the following manner:

Each moderator has ‘top secret’ Ibrahim code installed on their computer. When a user selects the ‘notify moderator’ button a signal is sent at random to one of the moderators.

The ‘Ibrahim’ code on the moderators’ computer then sends a remote signal to a specially modified K-9 shock collar worn by all moderators. The ensuing jolt, gently alerts the moderator that there is a problem that requires their attention.
