Modify a bucket to carry more firewood

Farmall good luck with the bucket. I think you will really enjoy it. My bucket turned out very well and i have had no problems with it. I asume you have looked at the tread where i built it. I am anxious to see how yours turns out.
The tilt of the quick plate related to the bucket is important. Pay perticular attention to it.
In my bucket, I built the frame as to resumble a bridge structure. The oil tank is welded to it no where but on the edges.

Thanks Stray. Yes, I have referred to the thread on your project and any other pointers will be appreciated. Cutting metal and welding will be all new to me...hope I still have all digits in good condition when I'm done!

I don't know if i mentioned it in the tred or not but i lucked up on the blade. My dad had had for years an old blade cutting edge(i guess it was half of a 2 pice job) off a road grader. This blade was 5 ft and the perfect length. No cutting, just welded it right on.
