mole mounds

Good day, on my property I have tons of mole hills, my airstrip is starting to get mounds, the mounds I want to remove and spread the soil, once I see the new ones appear I will have to deal with the mole, my question is do I use a 3pt rake to flatten and spread the soil or a box blade, on the larger area I do not care if the blade digs in but on the airstrip that is grassed I would prefer to not dig up the grass

I've had good luck with a chain harrow and making a few passes for pocket gopher mounds. Got anything around that you could just drag?

I have a couple of harrows sort of a frame with spikes, for the grass would they work upside down

I guess that depends on what's on top of them.. some I have seen have handles and the like for adjusting the angle of the spikes. If it's just smooth then that is what I would use. I use the smooth side of my chain harrow. A little speed seems to help as well, I usually use the ATV but have also used the tractor.

You can use a piece of chainlink fence, or a bunch of old tires tied together. It won't hurt the grass on the airstrip.

I just back drag them with the FEL when I see em while mowing.

Also I just drop the blade and back drag any mole hills I might see while out tooling around on this tractor.
