do people with LESS experience

Well I cannot argue with your title, but knowledge and knowing have a lot to do with experience.

if you don't know - are you less experienced? It is a learned event, not just a repetion of sequences. And learning may not be available.

No matter how much you know or how much experience you have, life can always "throw a banana peel" in your path. I think the best thing I have learned over the years is to always stay alert. Almost any situation can throw you a "curve ball" under the right circumstances.

And some of those curve balls are the minor league rookie kind. Others are more like Nolan Ryan fast balls. They just blow you away.

It's human nature to explore boundries. I've always kept this in the back of my mind, even after my kids were grown and on their own.

"What if my son is watching to see how I do it?" "Would I want them repeating what I do"?

That has kept me from attemting a few things over the years.
