Gary, Why don't you want to do it yourself?

Several reasons I guess:

Plenty of other things to do instead.

No help readily available.

Might run into a problem I can't solve.

No facilities to readily create the required bracket.

Easier to write a check!

I guess the last one is the most important.:)

I will purchase and have hoses made for the cylinders rather than get those from the dealer. And I will mount the cylinders when it's time for that too. Any good sources and recommendations for those parts?

Try Discount Hydraulic Hose. Prompt, fast service, knowledgeable people to talk to on the phone, great inventory, online catalogs, and most importantly good pricing. Recommended by many here on TBN.

KennyD,

My dealer doesn't have a 4100 to measure the space available between the ROPS and seat to mount the valve. So I'm going to measure tonight. They did obtain the Power Beyond kit and that makes me happy because they were not sure it was still available.

The links you provided for your Danfoss valve and the Eaton -Cessna valves don't work anymore. Do you have the model or any additional information on either valve? They have a valve, but are not sure it will fit in the space available.

Gary,
The valve I used is not available anymore it seams, but here is the one I would use, Its a compact valve that should fit nicely on your machine:

KennyD,

I saw that one and wondered if it was the Eaton-Cessna mentioned in your post.

I took some photos and will email them to my dealer tomorrow. He said he has a valve but wasn't sure if it would fit. There's approx 6" between the seat and the ROPS, so I think it won't be a problem.

Why did you make new handles? Disn't the valve you used come with levers?

Planning to order cylinders from CCM tomorrow. At least the top link cylinder.

Thanks.

Great Gary,
Sounds like your well on the way! Just make sure your dealer doesn't cram some huge 20 GPM, 25 lbs. monster valve on there. I would go look at it first held on the tractor before you OK it.

Why did you make new handles? Didn't the valve you used come with levers?
The Danfoss valve I got did not come with handles, and a local supplier was less than helpful getting me some. That's why I suggested the Cessna compact as better option.

Please take some pictures for us:D

That Eaton-Cessna valve is a great choice for any low gpm compact. I have personally recommended and helped install them. You will be surprised at how small it really is and it will fit almost anywhere without being big, ugly and obtrusive. Just make sure you get it with the power beyond sleeve.

What is the flow on this model of tractor? Is it less than 5 GPM?
