To answer my own question somewhat; looks like one piece ejector-interuptor is pre-M91/30 change and two piece is post 1930. Had to do some better googling to find that. I see a single piece on ebay for $15; which I guess isn't bad, but just goes to prove you can't build it piece by piece cheaper than buying whole thing.

So, if you could get a one piece ejector-interrupter for $15 or a two piece for $14.95, which would you choose. If it matters the two piece would be Polish Radom new unissued. Is there a functional advantage to either?

both work. the 1 piece were used till about 1930.

I 'believe' the switch to 2 piece was it being easier to manufacturer.

You see both used interchangeably in refurb rifles.

if both were in equal condition, I'd match it to your receiver date, ....though this being a franken-gun.. it don't matter..

So, dumb question, is the interrupter the only thing that holds the ammo in the magazine from springing out? There is an area on the back right top of the magazine that looks like it has been knotched out. I've read about "Finn anti jam" mag modification but never seen what it actually was they did.

intrrupter seperates and kinda lifts the top round so it can be chambered, primary reason for the lift is to prevent rim lock.
