Does anyone have any experience with Mosquito traps? They are Mississippi bad in n. California right now! I have seen good an bad reviews on the propane powered ones.
They're expensive and unreliable. Your best bet? Buy yourself a Stihl backpack blower/sprayer and some Talstar P and go to work.
I tested a beta version of the propane Mosquito Magnet on Cedar Key, Florida, my lovely wife's idea @ $1,500.
We lived in a stilt home over salt marsh.
The Mosquito Magnet bag was reliably filled with mosquitos daily, perhaps weighing 1/3 ounce total.
I figured there were TONS of mosquitos in the marsh grass.
Get it?
I recommend topical 40% DEET.
OK, i have a br600. Ill have to see if comiefornia allows that stuff. So just spray everything around the area your living in? Thanks
Anyone have any experience with Talstar P around creeks (waterways) and wildlife (turkeys and deer). Is it going to contaminate the game meat?
Just ordered this spray/blower and some Talstar P!
I own nothing but stihl power equip including a BR600. I can't justify $700 for the SR450 that I'll use a couple times a year. The Hudson gets great reviews!

wow! Thx! Somehow I missed that model.... Just cxld my Amazon order. I'll be getting the lil stihl! The 450 is too top heavy with a full tank, that's why I went with the SR200. I wanna say I paid $399?
