Cat fever that is a fantastic building. And that view is amazing as well.
Thanks Woodchuck,
I've been keeping up on your road build. Looking forward to the house build.

Thanks,
Yes, it took about 6 weeks. That was mostly just my wife and I. Did get intermittent help from my two sons. Here's the inside.

I had my 5-bay shed built in early 2013. Around A$32,000 and almost half the cost was the concrete pad (which is fairly standard here). The conditions in Aus usually don't call for an enclosed building. I saved $s by preparing the ground myself using my tiller & 4in1 bucket utilising the old Mk 1 eyeball to level = nailed it!
Concrete pad is a 'must have', if you can afford it. Putting it in later is a royal pain in the arse. A pad also means that you can store your implements/attachments on wheeled pallets for ease of hooking up/putting away.
I knew Wag was conspiring with the pallets. I just knew it!Your' letting pallets breed and multiply under cover in bay 2? You have got to be kidding me!![]()

Cat... that just flat out fits with the terrain and scene. Well done.:thumbsup: Heading over to find your build thread now.Soldier,
I have a thread in this forum called "Raising a barn" it shows all the steps I took to build my barn. They really are not that hard to put up. Airbiscuit hit the nail on the head about making sure things are straight and plumb. I used a water level to set the building up. Getting it square was just dumb luck.
Here's my favorite picture, taken only about 3 weeks ago.
