To each his own. I don't fool with truck tires ever when I can have them mounted by my tire man for 15 bucks a shot, in a tire cage. Much safer and less chance of getting dead.
This is my tire cage:
I hide behind the bucket when filling.
This tire never "popped" on to the bead, it seems the rim just has a shallow slope to the edge of the rim. Got to 110 psi no problems.
