I wish that I was only weeks behind in where I want to be!!!!
We're getting a couple showers a week. 1/4" or less. Not making it deep muddy yet, just sloppy. And keeping the farmers out of the fields. We should be in the 60s-70s daily. Right now it's cloudy, damp, 42F with stiff NW winds. Another day of no field drying....It’s way too wet now to even think about moving anything. I think I might go ahead and put new osb siding on to replace rotten ones. Fortunately I have a few sheets in my barn from when it was $7 a sheet.
That took his entire week's paycheck!Only a couple?....they look really good!

(inside joke)When you install your flashing over your top edge, its a good idea to leave a gap between the flashing and bottom edge of top panels. Allows bottom edges to dry after wind-driven rain. Extra paint/sealer on those bottom edges also helpful-especially if you cut them-pobably will have factory edge pointing down, though.View attachment 742195

This is the before and after pictures. This is the side where the bricks used to sit against the shed.
Originally framed to put a man door in, I had a piece of OSB screwed over the hole. I haven’t put new studs behind this area yet.
Should have put in a new bottom plate on the studs, old piece pretty rotten on the outside edge. I’ll do the 3rd one later, the front and other side is worse.
The front right wall will need a new bottom plate. Electric comes up through it, so will have to remove that for awhile.
Need some z channel on top of the new panels when I do the tops.
BEF, looking good! Keep up the progress..... yes, those pics should be in landscape mode for sure!
