Reduces the diameter of the rear tires.

From correct operating pressure to 6-10#s as you suggest would be very small % in diameter reduction!

Find a 14.9X24 and measure dia at 6,12,18,24 and 32 psi. The center of the tire in particular bellies out at high pressure. The poster has not stated either if this is a light rub or the rotarty cutter is jammed hard into the lugs.
I don't know why the poster just wouldn't limit the lift height of the rockshaft control handle?

Any tire will swell with more pressure, but I have owned 14.9X24 tires, and they do not swell that much, Certainly nowhere near enough to interfere with a rear mounted implement of any kind, even when inflated to max pressure.

Sorry b&d you made the statement so you'll have to conduct you're own measuring but I really think it's a waste of time. Why would anyone desire to operate a tractor with 24-32# in the rear tire exceeding manufacturers spec's?

The fellow is new to the tractor and possible tractor operation. It would not be the first time a tractor operator , tire shop or dealership. Aired up all the tires to max rating on the sidewall. As if they were filling car tires.
