Mowing Mowing on slopes

Someone needs to put a tachometer on the shaft of the motor to get the true RPMs. Then use math to figure out the MPH of the tip of the blade. Anyone got a handheld tach with a contact wheel that could be placed on the motor shaft. I use to have access to that type of equipment when I was working on motors and motor controllers, but no longer do.

P.S. Keep your feet and hands away from the deck while it's running! /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

If you have the 48 in brush cutter, and it has a Danfoss DH-50, or 151-2121, the max rpm is 1248 rpm and has a 3.0 cu in displacement, and 16 gpm according to Baileynet.com
