It users a filter that depends on head pressure. Click on their ad and go to their website. They explain how it works.

I have been using a yellow one for over 3 years with no problems. I have run hundreds of gallons thru it and have done nothing special with regards to handling before or after using it. Mr Funnel works as advertised and in my opinion, is worth every penny you pay for it.

Same here Madref. I use mine to fuel both of my diesel tractors. In fact it's been in the same plastic bag for 3+ years to keep it dust free and the bag is in great shape.

I had never heard of Mr Funnel before reading this thread. Based on positive feedback (discounting the unique problem of sticky plastic) I decided to get one. I must say they have some pretty questionable business practices in their ordering process. 1) they claim to give you "free" a bottle of fuel stabilizer but AFTER you place the order they inform you that they will charge an additional $5.95 to ship the "free" bottle. 2) at the very end of the order process, after you've entered all credit card data etc, they announce that if you want the funnel earlier than 4-6 weeks there will be yet another up charge. There is no way to cancel the order at that point.
