Can anyone identify the plug I need to tap into the power that would normally go to the rear safety lights? This jack is on both sides just under the top of the cab. Thanks in advance.
Thats a good question.. I never saw that until I looked. My cab has brackets with 2 holes on them right beside the plug. Now wondering what we can put there... maybe some ditch lights or something??
Those are it, I believe the same as an aux jack for a BMW motorcycle. My 357 has a beacon light switch on the pillar. I have a pair of woopty lights I run plowing snow, and I made another pig tail for my sprayer pump so I don't have to run a cord through the window.
Yes, those are Hella plugs. Its the same as some BMW motorcycles, a smaller version of the 12v cigarette lighter plug. I showed them in one of my recent videos. Well, the video was on another topic, and I just quickly glazed over it. These plugs are simple enough to wire and are used for beacon lights. Though, you could probably use them for just about anything 12v.
