I just got finished cutting up leaves with the regular 60" MMM blades. I'll have to say it does a good job cutting/mulching leaves after you run em over a few times. My question is would a set of mulching blades do the job a little quicker? Do I need to buy a kit or would just the blades suffice? Where to buy kit and how much? I would not want to mulch in the summer only in the fall to get rid of 5 acres of leaves. It shure beats burning them!!

I know Kubota sells a kit in the 150 - 200 dollar range that includes metal gaurds/air-ducts that bolt to the bottom of the deck. Without these, I don't think the blades could create the vacuum that would allow for multiple leaf chops.

Just wondered how hard the install would be? Need to go to Kubota and do some checking. Like I said before the regular blades do a decent job, just looking for a good alternative.
