So....I crank up the snowblower this morning to do the driveways and after about 45 minutes of running the machine, a mouse squeezes out of the box frame below the engine, looks up at me with one of those mouse in the headlights looks and darts across the top of the snow to god knows where... :D:D:D

I hope he's OK...:D:D:D

Yup the guy who comes up with an invention that keeps mice out of small engines, cooling shrouds etc. is gonna be rich.

Everytime I take a pc of equipment out of the shed and start it, all their nuts and nesting crap goes flying all around along with mouse parts after going thru the flywheel

If I had a dollar for every time I had to pull that junk out of between the cooling jacket and the head fins on a small 4 stroke....

They can raise ___ with wiring.

This year they disabled my walk behind leaf blower by chewing the low oil shutdown wire

I remember brush hogging for quite a while and then looking over at my FEL arm and saw a mouse sitting there looking around. I stopped and bumped the joystick a few times until he left. :)

Don't leave your tractor plug in over night, for you might be surprise what might come popping out...mice even chipmunk.

I bought a used gas engine at a garage sale once, rode it home in the back of my pickup, parked it in the garage, then started working on in it about a week later. The piston was stuck and I was heating it with a torch and pounding on the piston and out comes this little shell shocked mouse. He took one look at me and dived back into the engine. :D

I found a pair of mice sitting on my battery with broken acorns everywhere when I checked my tractor battery about two weeks ago.

When that little guy was about to jump off the snowblower into that deep, cold snow, I could have sworn I heard him yell Bonzai!!! :D:D

My son and I were working on a box blind down at our camp a few years ago when we encountered a mess of suicidal mice. My son and I were standing on the box blind roof that痴 20 feet off the ground on stilts over looking a rather deep ravine. The wind hand blown the roll roofing over during the winter and the mice has made a huge nest in it. My son grabbed the roofing material and gave it a tug and mice went everywhere trying to get way. Most of them jumped off the front side and drifted over the high walls edge and went maybe another 75 down and crash landed. Could not tell if they lived ore not but we got a heck of a laugh out of that.

I see them jumping off my tractor fairly frequently. It was actually worse when I kept my tractor under a tarp. Had to clean mouse nests out of the engine bay all the time. Have not had any wire damage yet.

However, one day I was mowing and kept smelling this pungent, rotten odor. I just assumed something was dead in the grass but as I mowed in other places I continued to smell it. Late that day I found a long dead mouse frying on the exhaust manifold. What a stink!

It's called a Black Snake... You should have seen how fast it comes out of a riding lawn mower after driving 5 or so minutes... Glad I stopped for a beer!!! Hate to have it crawl out when I was mowing with it!

Had another time, two lawn mowers side by side, sat in one and started it up... black snake fell from the roof onto the OTHER lawn mower's steering wheel a foot away...

It amazes me how much damage they can do. My neighbor bought a nice Leibherr wheeled excavator cheap from the county because the Duetz engine had been plugged with mice. The finns were completely stufffed causing it to over heat.
