MX 5400 PTO Issue

Hi. Does anyone know what may be causing my PTO not to engage when trying to get my bush-hog? I press the yellow button down but it pops back up. I checked and it is connected correctly. I’m not real mechanical, any thotare appreciated.

Don't you have to push and twist the button so it locks in? Then you just need to hit it to turn off.

Not sure of your model year, but they've not changed it much. My 2020 pushes down and turns on the open station MX6000, which should be the same component configuration as your MX5400.

Push and twist to lock on my MX5800 as well.
