So I finished the guard reinforcement. Thanks for all the tips and pics. You can see where I had already cracked the plastic screen.
I added some angle iron reinforcement. Used #9 3/4" expanded metal. Made a little basket to hold chains at the bottom.

That's a fine looking job there. The chain basket is a really nice touch!

Thanks! Chain still lives in there. Crazy how often 10' of chain is useful. :confused3:

Yep, I carry at least two chains of various lengths on each tractor.
