Compact Telehandler with a grapple now that is cool! Familiar with the bigger ones on the job site. While very tough and versatile never seen one do grub work, dirt work or trees.

Yep, that is why I post pictures, to let people see what it can do. Ten years ago I didn't know they even existed, then saw one with a big bucket for sale on eBay. It was just what we needed for removing silt from the pond. Sold the tractor soon after I got the compact telehandler. It had 1.25 cubic yard bucket.

Pulled a 24' tall cedar tree with the Long Arm tree puller:

Wow I’m impressed!! I found cedars and walnuts the toughest trees to uproot.

Back to the original post... if buying a grapple for tree work buy the toughest you can. Big difference types of steel strength VS weight. EA is your best bet for advice.
