My buddy(dog) is passing away

My deepest sympathy. Dogs are the stewards of unconditional love. They give and sometimes receive. Be proud that you were able to love him the way all dogs deserve.

We have lost several dogs over the years and you never forget them. I wouldn't want to forget them.
We have 3 little ones now and just the thought of losing them is unimaginable but their love and devotion makes the later pain easier to take in beautiful memories.
So sorry for your loss. We really do feel your pain.

It's interesting how a dogs loyalty can be so unwavering.

It's like the old saying:

"Lock your wife and your dog in the trunk of the car and drive around the block a few times. See which one is still happy to see you when you let them out.":laughing:

Real sorry to hear about your doggy. Over the years, I myself had to put down 2 of my dogs, I loved them both very much, and still think about them.

We just put Sal's buddy, Max down. Cancer and old age, had made him tired. One of the last pictures of him, on a very short walk. He had problem controlling his bowls, for a time now, and that last two days, had to assist him while walking.

They gave my wife and i 15+ years of companionship, RIP my sweet pals. Max and Sal having fun at the ocean.

Lost my Norwegian Elkhound a couple weeks ago, she made it 16 years.
We also lost my wife's Blue Chow in the pic to a form of throat cancer a few months earlier

Both Loyal to the end.

My condolences to all who have lost their Dog.
