20 miles, that is far enough to be good, and close enough so she can see you aint stoppin' livin' cause she is not part of it. Dont know if it helps, but I know some boys that would be lovin' havin' a place like that.......without the "wife" haggling them all the time.

Thanks. She's history and life has gotten better. It seems there is a shortage of men my age with no kids, good career and doesn't do drugs. Go figure.

The place looks great. I can tell you that I'm now on the growing list of people looking for containers.

You are absolutely correct about the demand for guys without kids, drugs, etc. I'm 32, was divorced a little less than two years ago. I thought it was going to be difficult finding someone interested in me etc. etc. Found out just what you are finding now. If you have a stable career, don't have kids, don't do drugs, don't beat women, and all of that stuff, you can just about have your pick of them.

Love the wife dearly, but if we were to ever be apart I would NOT get married again for a long time, if ever. The work I do puts me in touch with lots of ladies. I dont know how soon I would even tie down with anyone.

Your home is cool, just enough and nicer than most homes. I like the part about being able to lay down and work on the puter. Get a wireless mouse keyboard and you have it made.

at age 30 I divorced and took custody of 3 kids - the youngest was 4 - I thought I'd be alone for years because what woman would want a guy with 3 little kids .....What a surprise! Seems a guy with kids was seen as a real catch - go figure - didn't want anything to do with any woman for a year - time to grieve I guess --- but from age 31 to 41 were without a doubt the best years of my life. Raising those kids on my own, sure ... but was not even lonely! Sometimes had some scheduling conflicts if ya know what I mean. Remarried a lady at 41 who had 2 girls .... they all grew up ... and those 2 girls came back home recently with their kids .. so now have 3 grandkids living with me .....sigh ... it was simpler living single ......

Rainy days have me finishing up a few things in my barn that I've been putting off for just such a day.

Storage and a workbench would be nice to have.

I really liked the idea of having a special place for my chop saw so I could cut wood without having to put spacers under it.
