I don't think there are many backhoes out there that have this option. Mine was made by Hardy up in Canada. They have since been bought out by Pronovost. Hardy made front end loaders and backhoes for tractors. Mine is the 8 DL model. Mine is currently set up for three point hitch use, but can be later changed to frame mounted. I know not to abuse it that is not what this thread is about. Just sharing some pics. I had to dig out some rocks from the horses paddocks, we have lots of them in the northeast. It extends two feet. It always seem I set it up in one area to dig up rocks and then find some just out of reach. That is when the extend a hoe comes in handy.
