That's a really nice entry, one idbe jealous of driving by. It's funny but owning land, I find myself envious of the roads, fencing and gated entries I pass when out and about.

Our new place in the Hill Country has a pretty nice entrance but the opener was removed long ago. I've got an Apollo opener to install, just haven't gotten to it yet. Priorities have been fencing pasties so we can move animals and house renovations so we can move us.

South end of our farm borders a State Hiway. East side of our farm at that end has a gravel road T'ing the Hiway. The gravel road is all on our property as it was added later. I found some really big red rocks on our property and dug them out. The largest required a bull dozer to move. I placed these rocks on each side of the gravel road at the T. If giving directions to the farm I often say "you know where the big red rocks are?" Most people say "oh yeah". Turn there. :)

I'm the same way. I love seeing a unique entrance. I still want something over the top for my entrance, and maybe one day I'll get around to it, but after saying this for ten years, it was time to actually do something!!!

I like it.

It looks great Eddie. Very nice work!

Eddie,
I can see that your entrance is understated. That, just based on all your other, over the top projects!
hugs, Brandi

Your entrance is MUCH fancier than mine Eddie. LOOKS GREAT!

We went round and round on spending the money for a fancy setup but at the end of the day I couldn't justify it for our scruffy looking entrance. I just put a couple of 10' farm gates and used horse fencing. We planted Confederate Jasmin along the fence so one day it will be covered in blooming vines.
