We went last night. Bought 20 gallons of Primer and all the stuff that goes with it. I stashed it in the garage and will take it to the house as soon as the finishers are done. I went by yesterday to take them some more zip bead for the ceilings, next to the beams. It is looking very good. I need to get in there this week to open the windows some and get it to dry out faster. It has been warm enough that they have not
Put up a video this morning.
Trying to get the siding finished since we have time on our hands.

I ami have some non-shower areas in the bathroom that will be tiled. Should I paint them or leave them unpainted and just tile them?
I wouldn't paint the sheetrock. Primer might be OK. You want the Thinset Mortar to penetrate into the sheetrock.

If there is a chance of moisture, coating the sheetrock with something like RedGard will protect the sheetrock.

I usually just put one coat of primer on...no paint ! I use plastic saran wrap ( i get the big box at Costco ) to wrap my rollers up with. Roll out a strip of saran then lay roller on it and roll up sealing the ends well. I leave the roller handle on i know i will be using again in a day or so. After that i put it all in a gallon size ziplok bag with just the handle sticking out. I hate cleaning rollers !!!

Enjoyed watching latest video. Keep having fun! You got the hardest stuff done.

Now that the hard stuff is done, and you are so far along, I'm guessing that Jeffanna will be in no rush to finish the rest of it ;)

Our plan is to hammer out the things that need to be done to get us into the house to live. And while we are doing this, there are a couple opportunities to do some things that will be much easier before we move in. But the stack of stuff that I have to get done is steep considering my amount of time and experience. So once again, we are putting together a list. I just need to focus on other stuff ling enough for the drywall to be done and fully dry. I’m trying not to get stir crazy with it.

Do you have fans or a dehumidifier to get that damp air out so the drywall can dry out ? Don't get in a rush to paint anything until you know it is dry to do so !

I would use a propane or kerosene torpedo heater and rotate it around the house from room to room before starting the placement of primer or paint on the drywall.

That’s me. Other people may think differently.

I thought torpedo heaters made indoor humidiity worse. Am I wrong? Jon
