To paraphrase someone I know,
"They always come out when there's an accident, they're like ambulance chasers."

Need I say more?

Bob will only tell you that he pulled the info for "personal" reasons. But we all know that it was after some flack, and he and some others pulled all their info. What good that did, I don't know but he owns a Kubota and a New Holland.

John, the ONLY part of your post that is factual is the part about the Kubota and the New Holland, and that I pulled my profile for personal reasons. The remainder is so far off base that it is silly.

Wow!, This thread took a dive fast.
I sat here and wrote 14 lines about why they go downhill, but it's not worth it.
I GIVE UP!
I hope everyone get's what they want in life and whatever that may be, I sure hope it doesn't break.

I just got off the phone with Kioti's service manager.
Highbeam's loader boom will be replaced, it's on its way to the dealer.

Let me very clear about this. There was a miscommunication between the dealer and Kioti. Pictures didn't get sent right away as has been noted before. Kioti instructed the dealer to have a welder to a proper fix on the loader, but the place it was sent to wasn't as competent as the dealer had thought.

The dealer immediately, after returning the tractor to Highbeam, spoke with Kioti service and told them that the fix was not good. Then Joe sent his mail with pictures, and when they saw the result of the fix, sent a new loader boom to the dealer.

They realized that taking apart the angle iron fix, which should never have been done that way, would possibly compromise the integrity of the loader, so a new one was in order FOR THIS loader.

It has not been determined exactly how the fix will go for other loaders, but they will determine the best way to weld the cracks and reinforce them so that the fix will be proper. Do not expect to receive a new loader boom, it's not really necessary as a PROPER welding job should fix the problem as many have already stated.

I'm not sure if Highbeam even knows the outcome yet, but this is the good news that I've tried to say would be forthcoming.

The loaders will in all likelihood be redesigned, probably with a solid crossbeam and hydraulic lines on the outside as all the non- KL120 and KL130 loaders are designed.

It's no surprise to me that all of this could have been avoided had the miscommunication not happened. When the pictures were requested by the dealer, he didn't have the tractor there at the time. As soon as Highbeam sent them the pictures, it was evident that the loader would need to be replaced.

It was not anyone's FAULT really, we have all experienced problems from a lack of proper communications.

I would like to say CUDOS to the Kioti service department personnel, and thank them for taking the time to fill me in on what's been going on, and for taking care of Joe's problem quickly after he contacted them.

That seems reasonable.
