I was thinking the same thing. But to be honest I was also wondering how long before this thread started to decline with Bob activly involved. His Kioti envy has always been fairly transparent. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

( ( KJ,

Kioti does have someone monitoring TBN regularly!!! Primarily in marketing because I've had regular coorespondense and contributed to picture request. Don't believe for one minute that Kioti isn't aware of this thread. They need to get off their butt and DO something about this loader. It would be much cheaper to address it now than to continue to lose customers!
)
I really wish you guys would read my threads the way I write them instead of interpreting them the way you want to.
I am fully aware that more than one person at Kioti monitors this site, but it is not part of the corporation, or their job description. Kioti is not under any obligation to read this site and act on things posted here. That's what they have a service department for, and complaints should come through the dealers to the service department, not through TBN.

I hope this is much clearer.

I really think everyone should give Kioti a chance to respond to Highbeams e-mail before we continue to damage their image unnecessarily.

Every time there has been an issue, someone at Kioti was already working on it before I spoke with them in the office. Things don't always move as fast as we would like in the corporate world, but you have to understand they have a lot of dealers with whom they deal every day. They don't have the largest staff so that they can afford to just have someone sitting reading posts all the time, and dealing with a big issue such as this is going to take some talk and time in the corporation.

John )

Again, I beg to differ. I never stated anything about a full time position and yes, I was wrong to isolate this thread. The loader problems have been identified in other threads, closer to my meaning on my previous post. Say what you will KJ, but they know how people feel on TBN and there are employees of Kioti OCCASIONALLY visiting the site and getting paid for it as an employee. It is my knowledge that Kioti does have employees that check in here OCCASIONALLY soliciting material contributions for marketing and it is indeed is part of their job desciption

It's beyond my comprehension that it's OK for them to use TBN to their benefit in marketing but won't recognize it as tool for the consumers benefit.....JMO! Remember I own one, it's been a great tractor so far and you can rest assured I'll be all over mine in the next couple a months before my first year is up!

Kioti has had their chance via the dealer, shouldn't have gone this far...PERIOD! A consumer shouldn't have to wait on their much needed equipment for some suit to decide on the outcome at his leisure, it's BS! I'm mad for HB..........

I just looked at Bobs profile and it is empty. I do not keep up with the nuances of the personalities on this board, though I read it daily. What do you own Bob and why don't you fill out your profile? You have a buncha posts? Are you a moderator?

Bob will only tell you that he pulled the info for "personal" reasons. But we all know that it was after some flack, and he and some others pulled all their info. What good that did, I don't know but he owns a Kubota and a New Holland.

( I'll be surprised to see a recall, or a new frame for everyone impacted by this. It will cost at least $1500 per instance to fix this problem. A new frame will cost
$700-800 even at cost, $200 to freight the part in, plus a days time in the shop for a good mechanic to knock out all the pins and replumb the hydraulics. Kioti does not have pockets deep enough to do this right for everyone. )
Neil, being a business owner, this surprises me that you wouldn't at least check on the facts. As of their 2004 financials, Daedong had over $280,000,000 in sales. Even if we assume that the CK30 & CK20 w/loader is 15% of their total sales, (which is extremely unlikely) thats about $42,000,000. If we assume a wholesale cost of about $10,000 per CK30, that means about 4,200 units sold. Since 2004 that equate to about 12,000 units. At your assumed cost $1,500 plus 200 freight you are talking about $20,000,000. Now I may be way off on my assumptions of the CK series being about 15% of their total sales and I admit I have no evidence or knowledge of their sales composition, but I would assume it actually much lower, but even so your talking about a total fix that would be about 3% of total sales. To say that they don't have deep enough pockets for something like this is absurd. Would it hurt them financially, certainly, but is is feasible.
