It's wonderful how you can take thing out of context for your own benefit Bob. There were many posts connected to that issue, and a lot more discussion of why I said what I did, some to illustrate how many companies have done just what I said until they were forced into a recall.

I didn't take it out of context. Your reply was specifically about how Kioti would handle the broken loader problem and you stated that other companies would do the same. So while you can cry foul all you want, I did not take your quote out of context.

We argued about it then. I suppose we will argue about it now. Facts are facts, you said what you said.

No, I'm not going to argue about it because the fact remains that without the other posts with it, it is out of context of the whole thread. Twist it to whatever you want Bob, you always do.

I'll be surprised to see a recall, or a new frame for everyone impacted by this. It will cost at least $1500 per instance to fix this problem. A new frame will cost
$700-800 even at cost, $200 to freight the part in, plus a days time in the shop for a good mechanic to knock out all the pins and replumb the hydraulics. Kioti does not have pockets deep enough to do this right for everyone.

Come on Neal, a recall isn't need to fix these stress cracks. Grinding out the cracks and drilling a hole at the end of them is probably all that would be needed.

A Good welder/fabricator could have fixed Joe's loader in a heart beat.

If mine cracks, I'll be fixing it myself. It's not rocket science, it's welding. Joe's just got sent to a terrible welder.

I agree that the problem is being a little overblown. I have a mining business and stress cracks are common on most of the equipment.I understand it's probably a design defect but it can be easily fixed .
