One of the big reasons I brought this problem to TBN was for some very practical advice on my situation. I am happy to get advice through PM or on the thread. There is a lot about warranty work that I as a consumer don't know but am being forced to learn through this dispute. I have had warrantys on trucks and things are taken care of without me going to GM for example.
I can only relate my experience as being a Ford Technician. When Ford authorizes a warranty repair, they don't pay to have the repair done a second time if the first repair was not performed correctly. Guess who fixes it the second time? Me. I believe your dealer may be running into a problem similar to this. Maybe Kioti has already paid to have this repair done. The dealer may be responsible now for the repair and is hoping your letter will pressure Kioti to take some of the financial burden off of him. My take on it is this. Even if Kioti did pay to have it fixed, there is a real problem with these loaders that need to be addressed. I agree a properly repaired loader would more than likely be better than a new loader that might give you the same problem down the road unless some type of modification has been done at Kioti. I also would really be surprised if no one at Kioti monitors this forum everyday. The times I have called the service dept., they were well aware of all recent posts, including mine. Good luck to you and keep us all informed.

Hi all I have been reading in these forums for a few months and looking at tractors even longer. I was all ready to buy a CK 30 next week( and I really like them 2 ). BTW aftermarket loader is not an option for me I want to keep it all the same make and who knows what Kioti will do if something else breaks, have it scabed together like his. But now I will wait and keep reading and looking. Highbeams problem should have been fixed by now. I thought it was cause we haven't heard anything in awhile. Oh well it's not that bad back to shopping for a tractor. The prices I got for CK 25 gear with loader and industrial tires is 14,900 and CK 30 same way 16,700 close to the prices of the other orange hydros.

I saw your pics and agree that is an unacceptable repair. IMHO I don't think your dealer ever notified Kioti and figured he could do a little welding repair to make it all better. That would probably have worked and been acceptable if he had a professional do the job right to start with. Now with that cob job he realizes its unacceptable and wants you to work it out with Kioti for a new frame. As a cost saving to Kioti they may have recommended (under warranty) that a local professional welder repair and even make stronger the poor design of the frame rather than send a new frame that may end up with the same problem down the road. I think the dealer should be responsible since he had the inferior work done and he should order and replace the frame. I think when you get your response from Kioti they will say the same.

Something doesn't seem right here. Kioti never saw the pictures of the cracks to know their severity and probably only received an explanation from the dealer if any at all. Kioti should have advised of how to repair the frame unless the dealer just said that he could take care of it or maybe he never contacted Kioti. The dealer does a repair and weld job which reminds me of how I built and welded things when I firts started welding at age 14 with no training.
I think the dealer has a good part in this mess and he should be the one talking with Kioti about how to fix this situation. Maybe the dealer did what he wasn't supposed to do and now Kioti isn't going to be accountable for the dealer's botched job.
Like others have said, let's hear it straight from Kioti.
