I think you will find that on contentious issues like this one there will be some meaty posts and there will also be chatter. Invariably with the longer threads the chatter piles up (this post is a case in point) as people react to minor points or tangential issues. I have come to accept that and don't find it bothersome. I guess the point here is that we don't want to throw out the wheat with the chaff. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Generally speaking we feel that private communications between a customer and dealer or manufacturer should remain private. I have not read this entire thread, but wanted to mention that it is not allowed to post copies of private letters or e-mails received from other people on this forum.

Also, since we have seen threads similar to this in the past, I will keep the thread open, unless there is argument or senseless ranting taking place. If that point has already been reached, a moderator who has kept up on this thread may close it as well.

Generally speaking we feel that private communications between a customer and dealer or manufacturer should remain private. I have not read this entire thread, but wanted to mention that it is not allowed to post copies of private letters or e-mails received from other people on this forum.

My Reply: Why? Is the thought to protect the Dealers and manufacturers? It seems to me that there are enough dealers on this message board theat they can speak up for themselves and tell the other side of the story. They often times can and do give a Dealers Pespecitve which I find very enlighting.
So my question to you again is "Why?" Why is that your general policy?
