Really sorry to hear this. I had a GSD that I had to put to sleep a few years ago.... Best dog ever. The dog on the right looks like my German Shedder.
Kelly slowly lost her ability to walk and got to a point where she could not control her bladder or bowels. Best dog ever. My wifey found this video on the Internet of a GSD playing the water and not wanting to stop. Soooo, reminds me of my dog. Looks, sounds and behaves just like her...

I won't say I will NEVER have another dog but I seriously doubt I will. Any dog I have will be measured against Kelly and I don't think that would be fair. Danged dog was almost perfect...
We have a dog in the house but it is the wife's and the kid's dog. Not "mine." Tis a good dog but she cannot hold a candle to Kelly...
