Kyle, I too am sorry for your loss. I am headed home in a few hours and will take your advice. I will make sure to play with the dogs a little longer and groom on the horses. Life is short.

I tried to reply a few days ago but I had to stop when I couldn't see the screen anymore. I truly am sorry to hear of your loss. We lost Belle last November and it really is tough. It is amazing how attached you can become to an animal. My wife had lots of dogs growing up but Belle was special to her.....I think the goldens just get inside some people, me included. We have had Belle's niece, Skye for almost a year now and she is settling in well with the entire family. Again, our condolences to you and your family.

Sorry about your Golden. I have 2 dogs! A mean female Blue Heeler, and a gentle giant Golden. We love em both and both are 13 years old. Golden's name is Buford and we call him "Bubba" what else for a southern dog. He has been sick all this week and I think he has found some deer kill in the woods but he won't stay away from it. Both Bubba and Rascal (blue heeler) are near deaf, terribly arthritic, and poor eyesight. Take em to the Vet regularly and last August he commended me for the care we give them. He tried to prepare us then that their time is probably short. I intend to love and enjoy them as long as I can and be as sad at there passing as I'm sure you are over your Golden. Hope there are brighter days ahead for you.
