My new 4550 temperature gauge not working

They delivered my new 4550 with FEL a few days ago. So far I have put about 7 hours on it.
every thing seems good so far except the temperature gauge appears not to work I removed
and reconnected the wire to the sensor still no go. Any one have a test procedure for the
sensor and or the gauge so that I can try and narrow it down and have the dealer order the correct part.

I知 also a new owner of 4550 I thought my gauge wasn稚 working either then started using bush hog on thick stuff and it works but like running loader or driving around it doesn稚 move

They put a inline restrictor coming out of the radiator on our 4540 because it wasn't registering much of a temp, it did the trick.

I agree with "kevin37b", have the dealer repair it. You can open a big can of worms by doing it yourself and give them an excuse for a future repair rejection. I believe that the electrical system is the weakest part of the machine. Besides you paid for the warranty when you bought it, you might as well use it.
