what brand of fencing did you go with? I've been leaning towards the Oklahoma Steel brand at Atwoods. Oklahoma Steel and Wire 12.5 Gauge Max Tight Horse Fence, 48 in x 1 ft

I also have horses with my goats, so that's an issue that you wont have to deal with since you just have goats. I did make the mistake of using 6 inch field fence to try and keep them away from the horses during feeding time, and they just got their heads stuck inside the fence and couldn't get out. I had to add chicken wire to the fence to stop that. Goats are worse then cats at trying to hurt themselves!!!!

I went with the 4x4 goat fence from our local farm and ranch store. Not sure of the brand, i cant remember. Its the same stuff i have used on all the rest of my field. Seems to be working well and holding up good to them.

Bad idea IMO, they will leak before the steel panels will, hail will punch a hole in them and someone on the roof could slip and go through them. We did the gable end and a 2' strip below the eave on our cow barn with translucent panels and that lets in a lot of light.

Ditto! Those polycarbonate panels in particular are just garbage on a roof. Guaranteed to haze and start breaking in 10 years of sunlight. Been there done that.... the only decent translucent for a roof are fiberglass. I致e seen them going strong at 40+ years but oh so💸💸💸💸. From what I致e seen no windows in roofing is the best policy especially since the LED. came along. My 2 pennies worth.
