Don't forget the floor drains.
Bad idea IMO, they will leak before the steel panels will, hail will punch a hole in them and someone on the roof could slip and go through them. We did the gable end and a 2' strip below the eave on our cow barn with translucent panels and that lets in a lot of light.I suggest adding some of the translucent light panels in the roofing system. They are the same size and shape as the metal roof panels and made for this application.
I walked into a pole barn that had them installed and the difference is night and day!
My 30x40 building is dark, especially on a cloudy winter day, and that's with windows and LED lighting.
You have led lighting and it’s still to dark, then you need to redo the lights.
Well, i decided to make it bigger. Had them add another 15x30 off the right side. Going to make it a mother-in-law unit. Concrete poured today for that. Starting to sheet the rest tomorrow. More pics to come!
