My new barn / shop build

Nice build going on. I have been working out of a corner of my basement and a 16x28 shed for 30 yrs and have had it. been married 30 plus yrs and told my wife after our 21" snowstorm the other day that I will get a divorce before I go another year without a workshop/barn. vehicles and tractors buried in snow with a 500 foot driveway to clear and large parking area. The area was cleared about 5 yrs ago and leveled. A 40 x72 barn will be built in the spring. Price tag I hope to keep under $50k.

My shop under construction is 31x44. I farmed out forming and pouring concrete,framing, and gutters. I've done the rest until now. Roof on, house wrap applied, back filled with drains and conduit installed, no floor yet. 20x 4' led lights and a few windows bought and I'm at $53,000.00. I know it's going to be at least $80,000.

Barn update. All the walls are up, and mother in law unit has its windows and doors. Roof starts tomorrow pending our possible snow. Yes...you read that correctly. Snow predicted here in Fort Woth Texas!

Thanks! These kind of threads are what sparked my desire for a barn! I was following along with someone else's they posted.
