Hi Buggs, No..Just the filter? don't think its needed?he oil should be fine..
I've decided to change it all. The filters was the painful part $$$$$$
And I bought a chain wrench since I've heard they're hard to get off.
I did the full service. The filter underneath was a PITA to get off. I had read how hard it was and was ready with a chain wrench I got from Harbor Freight for $6. Good thing I did. The others came off with a standard wrench. I used a plastic cement mixing trough to catch all the fluid. The fluid wasn't clear, slightly honey colored. Very little gunk on the magnetic drain plug. Oddly enough it only took 5 gal of new fluid not the listed 5+.
Does it have the two drain plugs in the lower rear axle area like my DK has.. On the DK they had about a gallon each come out of them. The huge drain plug in the middle of the transmisson comes out like a river. But the ones on the rear differential area much smaller.
Yep. Two on rear axle, one forward of the large plug and then the big magnet plug. Only an hour or two since the change but it seems quieter (maybe wishful thinking)
Kioti makes it hard to find the true hyd system specs. You need to have a service manual to
find the flow and pressure available for implements. Brochures show a "total" flow, which includes
the flow used for power steering. So the 11.3 number is surely a combined total flow. To
compare, my CK30 has 8.3GPM/2560psi hydraulics, but brochures list 12.3GPM.
I do not recall the specs for the CK20 I bought new in 2006, but I think it was somewhere around
2000psi and 6-7GPM available for implements. I would like to know what the true #s are for
both units. Anyone with a service manual for both CK20 and 2510 to check?
