My new Kioti CK 2510 HST 2014

So far so good. No other issues noted. I have nearly 4 hours on it. The only thing I've dealt with is adjusting the 3 pt hitch so the implement comes up level instead of tilted right or left. I have a good dealer in that regard. He told me however that my traded tractor had a hydraulic pump that was just about to EXPLODE however and he wants me to kick it for the new pump. I told him I'd pay for a third of I because the tractor only had 300 hours on it. In my opinion a hydraulic pump should last at least 550-600 hours. what do you think?

What I think: tell the dealer when the pump blows to call you. Your dealer is asking you to do this AFTER he took your tractor in on trade?! If so, that's ridiculous. The deal is the deal. When has any dealer on Earth ever given a better deal to a customer after the deal was complete? Answer: NEVER!

This saga validates one of my long-standing prejudices: The quality of your dealer is more important than the color of his tractors.

Sure starting to look that way isn't it. From the trouble some of the guys have had, wow.

Um.. when the old tractor is loaded on the dealers truck or trailer... um.. it is his... I have never heard of the "your pump is about to explode" game before... Wow... And I am going to be darn angry if my hydraulic pump only lasts 600 hours.

Neither have I.

A worn-out pump will stop pumping, and/or leak. Explode? I doubt that.

I just happen to have the hyd pump from the other CK30 that I bought in 05, which was
replaced when the owner took his tractor to a dealer and said, "fix it".

I doubt the pump is bad, but I have not opened it up yet. I should move that up my list.

I think NO. 300 hours isn't even the first fluid change. If it goes he owns it. He didn't pay for a tractor with a new pump, why should he expect one? He's crying over milk that hasn't even been spilled yet.

Hi everyone, I have a CK2510 HST...got it new from a very good dealer Timberstar tractors in Vernon BC. I got it 6 months ago and put 125 hrs on it did have a FEL mount weld fail.. My dealer re welded and added reinforcing to the mount..

Welcome to TBN. Glad your dealer took care of your weld problem. Side question: did you change the Hydraluic fluid at 50 hrs?

Hi Buggs, No..Just the filter…I don't think its needed…The oil should be fine..
