Don't get me wrong. the little 1021 is a beast ! I just need 72 inch cut.

Wow. That´s awful short. ... at 2.75..

2.75 around the house, which is really flat. The further from the house I get it goes from 3 to 4 inches. Should not really be mowing at 4 inches, but it looks nice. That area should be hayed. LOL. But it looks nice. LOL.

I mow 4" around the house and 5" which is the highest its goes for the rest.

My cutting edge on blades measures 1/4-3/8” Higher on concrete floor than the Dial Adjuster Knob reads.

Keep that in mind.

Mine said that also. It's in 1/4" increments, but 3 does not mean 3" from the ground.

When I got mine I got on level shop floor and assured the deck was level as well. I agree that the numbers don't indicate blade height in inches. I sure like the easy deck raise feature.

Sometimes, in really deep grass I raise deck to top, mow, then go back next day at preferred height.

Biggest lesson so far, is that the seat height is probably 3-4" higher than my previous Deere Z820A. I've banged my head on low tree limbs I used to just duck under.

I wished Kubota made a 84, 90 or 96” deck.

I Love my ZD 72 RD but just need a wider cut mowing 8+ hrs per week.

It’s the same time as my previous 110” RFM & 66hp Hydro JD Tractor.

I’m saving 12gals of fuel every wk tho
