Dougster, The way Bradco runs the hard line for the bucket cylinder, I find that answer hard to believe. Guess that is Engineer speak for..........I don't want to take the time to design a nice tight hyd. installation.

Who knows? Maybe it is the best option... maybe not. Doesn't make a whole lot of difference now as the whole dang thing is sitting here ready to install as soon as I gather up a few last parts and order up some hose and hose ends.

But I also gotta tell you that the full kit looks like a bear to install from the set of installation instructions I got with the kit. So glad I am not going that "full install" route. If you do go that way, I suggest letting your dealer install it. If anyone could do it, you could (with your aircraft experience)... but if you can work a little "OT" and pay the dealer, I say do it!

The foot is well enough to be working again... ...which is exactly what I have been doing. This is probably why you feel I have been quiet... ...and it's also partly why the cylinder is not yet installed. The main issue is that I am waiting for hose and fittings from DHH and bulkhead brackets and other miscellaneous hardware from Bradco. Given the wait for parts and the little unexpected backlog I've suddenly got for September, the new cylinder may not get installed before the end of the month.
