Actually, if I were to live in NH, I would be looking at the 7010. With those weather extremes, a cab would be a must and those 3 rear remotes come standard.:)

As maybe you can tell... I like the full platform Mahindras best! :)

Dougster,
Yes, that full platform makes it fun to stand up while mowing!

No question... the 7010 is a great machine! But what would I do about a backhoe? The whole idea of going after a 7520 is that it has the mounting ability and flow (17 GPM) to power a Bradco 611... the most powerful backhoe attachment of which I am aware.

There is always the possibility that I will buy a used full-size hoe once up in New Hampshire. It would have heat and a cab. But I've still got to maintain the land. Not gonna pull a bush-hog around with a 15,000 lb hoe. ;) In that case, either a 7010 or a 6520/7520 would suit me just fine! :D

In fact, with a full-size hoe sitting around, I could probably do just fine with a lot less tractor.

A 580 Case exdendahoe, 4x4 with 4"n"1 bucket will suit you fine once you move. But then no thumb on an extendahoe, so maybe just a fixed stick.;)

Well, it sounds silly now while I am trying to work this funny little business out of my oversized 2-car garage... but up in the land of "Live Free or Die" old ladies use full-size hoes for personal gardening!!! It's a different world up there in the granite state. And like folk's say: They don't call it the granite state for nothing!!! :D

I can buy a very decent used full-size hoe for the price of a newer used compact JD110 or CBL40... so why not? It's not like I'll have to worry about storage or zoning problems!!!

I actually looked long and hard at moving to New Hampshire back in the 90's. Was there in April, just a little snow left here and there. Man was it pretty, but wife said no way at that time, so here we are stuck in the land of looneyville, for now anyway.:(

Dougster,
:) That's when you put it in low 1st and pop the wheel back down, sit back in that big seat and pray all that rubber around you doesn't touch the flowers. ;)

Brian,
You would give up that cool mountain air? I want to move out to West Texas at 5200 feet. That would be real nice. I am tired of the humidity here on the Gulf Coast.

Oh for goodness sake! I would kill for that amazing piece of land you've got out there! Actually, that would probably be the only way I ever could get it since I could NEVER afford it!!! :p

New Hampshire is the last halfway-sane state left in all of New England. It used to be completely sane, but Massachusetts liberals have flocked to New Hampshire to avoid the sky-high taxes and high cost-of-living that their own corrupt, big government programs created... and then for some strange reason are trying hard to bring those same big government programs with them. It defies rational explanation. Still, it is the last place left around here where I truly feel like I belong. Just driving across the border into New Hampshire makes me feel like a free man again. We truly love it there! :)

No way!!! Gotta be in low range 1st gear alright... but also standing up to see exactly where that cutting edge is doing its thang! :) You've got to remember that I work in tight residential spaces where your 6520 wouldn't even fit with the bucket and 511 off... let alone turn around and actually do productive work! ;)

Why do you think I'm looking at little ASV RC-30s? :D

If I wuz considering that tractor I'd also consider purchasing land near its present location so I could enjoy driving it year around. Diggin's a lot easier if Florida too!

Well, the GF likes the idea of the snowbird retirement thing... and she's the retirement planning financial wiz between the two of us. It will be up to her to make that plan work! :)

Of course, that doesn't explain how I'm going to make *millions* snowplowing... but that's another story.

Dougster,
Yeah, the Big Red Beast is like a bull in a china store while mowing. I have so many trees, I sometimes have to put the loader all the way up to turn around the trees. I leave the loader on to act as a "cow catcher" on a train and catch any stumps or logs I fail to see, then I can push the logs out of the way.

I also use the "loader all the way up" technique to make extremely tight turns in very limited space. But then ya gotta watch out for the client's low hanging branches from trees behind you!!! Oh no!!! :D

'05 w/ML170 180hrs, w/ Finnish made chipper 8"?, rake & blade $32K
The chipper was hooked up, didn't see either the rake or blade.
I have no idea of the value but, that's quite a few pennies.

I think we can safely say that machine is well outside the financial realm of the Dirt Poor Dougster.

Been thinking about Montana, been there a few times in the winter,(always below 0) and once in July. To many people here in Southern California 30-35 million. The whole state of Montana has a little over 1 million. Biiiiig difference in people per square mile.
