classic bmw performance baby! who says big turbo's are only for diesels :licking:
holset hx35 on a 1.8l bmw 4cylinder. all the tig work was done by me

this motor is going in a 1983 318i 2door. motor is out of a 1967 bmw 2002tii with modern fuelinjection added.

i'd rather have it in the old 2002. . . i've always loved those cars.

brian ive got 2 other scca cars. 89 m3 and 91 318is.

it would have gone back in the '02 if rust hadnt taken its toll on the frame/body. ive got another '02 that im gonna turbo after i get the 318 finished.

its big condidering these jap tuners are using 2 1/2 in & outs on their motors :laughing:

How much boost and is the engine stock?

35-40lbs safely. only thing stock is the block and valve cover.intake i made. the runners are paired in the firing order pulses 1/4 2/3. solid lifters 292 cam. stock bore and stroke. 1.8ltr. it will turn 8500rpms. indiviual throttle bodies megasquirt engine managment. should be good for 300-350hp at the wheels. in a car that weighs under 1700lbs thats alot. also running water/meth injection. tial bov. no wastegate or boost controler.
