I've been working on simplifying the wiring harness by pulling connector pins/sockets. I finally got the knack of popping the latch holding the pin/socket in the housing. My cheap set of eyeglass screwdrivers work better than the $11 set of EBay connector tools I bought.

After a few days of hacking and chopping wires I got the engine harness whittled down to where it cranks, sparks and the fuel pump runs all without blowing a fuse nor causing any conflagration (fire). Once it warms up a bit, I plan to roll the chassis outside, add some gas to the tank and see if it runs.

It is a nice day here in upstate NY so I rolled Snowzer out of the shop in an attempt to see if it would run. After putting a couple gallons in the fuel tank and a bit of cranking, viola - it actually ran! I moved the shifter arm through its paces and the axle CV housings moved appropriately. I do have a small atf drip leak that is probably located where I split the diff housing to I weld it up. This will need to be addressed at some point.
