Congratulations and I'm glad to hear everyone is doing great. Those falls can be bad when they are pregnant. Had the same situation when Monica was pregnant with our daughter. She had fallen at the mailbox about 2 months before she was due. Ended up taking her to the emergency room, but fortuanately she had landed in a pile of snow and had a big coat on so things were pretty much padded. Again congratulations, Papaw will have her out on that New Holland by the time summer comes. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

You guys talking about pregnant women falling reminds me of what I considered one of the dumbest things my wife ever did. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif When she was about 7 months pregnant with our first one, one evening she ran and jumped on my back piggy back and grabbed me around the neck; just playing. Now that might have been alright, except I was just standing there, not expecting it, and didn't see her coming, so we instantly fell flat on our backs with me on top of her. Scared me worse than you can imagine. I thought I might have killed her and the baby both, and she just laid there laughing till she was out of breath. What a relief when we were sure no harm was done, but I just couldn't believe it.

One night after a terrible day of bad storms we were all in bed sleeping. About 11:35pm I heard the wind start howling again. It was getting louder and louder, closer and closer... a tornado was coming right at our house! I yanked my wife(5 months pregnant) out of bed by the arm. I dragged her by her wrist on her knees into the hall. Dropping her there, I ran into my 4 year old daughter's room, grabbed her out of her bed and ran back into the hall. I grabbed my wife by the wrist again and took off for the basement, child over my shoulder with one arm, wife sliding along the floor with the other. I had the strength of ten men that night. I'm screaming TORNADO! TORNADO! and she's yelling back, "It's a jet! It's a jet!"....... Huh? A jet?... What?.... uh-oh. You OK? Reply was something like, "You moron!" /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Turns out every night at 11:35 the old Fed-X 727 leaves our airport to the west. I knew that. However, the wind was very strong out of the south that evening, so they used the short south runway right over our house. Rattled all the windows and made the whole house vibrate. I thought I was a goner. /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

Went to the doctor the next day... all was well with mom and unborn baby. Mom had carpet burns. Dad needed some tranquilizers. Called the FAA and they reported several complaints that night. Baby came out 4 months later just fine no thanks to me, of course /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

We left them alone today to "recover" from all the family that visited yesterday. Son tried to e-mail pics but he sent 20 all at once and they were over 1MB each. My ISP refused the e-mail /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif
BUT I just got added to the visitors list for the neo-natal unit. I get to go see Emily anytime I want to YAHOO , just show ID. The nursery units are so restrictive due to all the baby thefts. How pathetic. I'm gonna take my own camera tomorrow /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Congrats GrandPa Jerry!

I everything goes well with the baby and mom.

My daughter started calling her grandparents by their various
names, Grandpa Dan, Granpda Bobby, etc. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif It was how
she choose to call the Grandparents. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Congrats and I hope that baby get big fast!

Ok..........Mom gets to go home today, but Emilee (new spelling) gets to stay for a few weeks. Finally got a picture of her. She's doing very well and expect her to only have to stay for 2 weeks.

Oh Yeah!! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

That's a mighty fine looking little girl, Jerry!

It's too bad that she has to stay in the hospital for a few more weeks. But as each day goes by and she gets bigger and stronger, you'll thank God that she was in good hands where she was being taken care of. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
